TTC GETHOST CUSTOM CONTROL

With the evolution of component software plug-n-play, has become an expectation of users and developers alike.  Component software allows you to take applications that provide valuable services and plug them together into one larger, highly functional application.

To add to the emerging technologies becoming available in the world of component software, the TTC GetHost Custom Control v2.00a provides plug-n-play capabilities for the Internet.  The 32-bit custom control encapsulates the function of name and address resolution on the Internet.  As you well know, the hosts on the Internet are generally referred to by name, however, the network requires that the address be used for forwarding and routing of information on the Internet.  The GetHost Custom Control provides a means of accessing and resolving addresses with the Domain Name System so that you can submit information out onto the Internet from any 32-bit container / development environment.

As with the other controls of the Connectivity Custom Control Pack, you simply plug the GetHost Custom Control into your 32-bit container and develop your Internet application.  Combining the functionality of multiple controls will provide you with a fully functional Internet connectivity application.
